Light, Shaped by Design
I’ve always been fascinated by how transparent materials interact with light. Through the pattern-generating tools I’ve developed, I design printed forms that guide how light passes through, to create soft reflections, shadows, and depth within a space.
I’m exploring how 3D printing can bring delicate, leaf-like forms to life. Each petal and patterned overhang is printed in a single flow, revealing new visual possibilities while pushing the limits of what’s the tools can do.

Petals in Motion
By printing each section as a continuous spiral, I keep patterned surfaces uninterrupted, letting light dance across the form without distraction.

Weaving in Code
I use Blender to turn patterns into G-code, layering and adjusting them with Geometry Nodes. This lets me experiment freely and build complex designs without slowing down the creative flow of the lamp design.

Moving Light
The weaving tool-paths and the layered stacking all shape how the light behaves. The light interacts with the tiny ridges and gaps of the printed lines, which reflect and sparkle.

Xeno Lumae Table Lamp
This is the first piece in my Xeno series, I made it in PETG after spending most of 2025 working with ceramic. I chose PETG for its clear transparency and the way it carries light. It is also strong and resists UV damage, so it can last. Even though it is plastic, I did not design it to be disposable. The form is not tied to any time or era. Like a xeno, a guest, it enters a space and quietly changes it.
